Planning Application Form

A view should be obtained from the Planning Authority on principle, at the early stages, of developing a site for a playground.  A pre-panning meeting at the time of site selection is recommended before specific proposals are developed.

 All projects applying for insurance cover under Kerry County Council’s Play Policy must also complete a standard planning application form and submit it together with the required documents to Kerry County Council. 

 There is no planning application fee for community initiated playgrounds.

 Only projects with planning permission will be considered for insurance cover.

 Work on the playground cannot commence without planning permission.
